Marvel Unleashes the First Trailer of Fantastic Four: First Steps

Marvel Studios just dropped the much awaited trailer of Fantastic Four: First Steps, and the internet is ablaze with reactions, theories and speculations! Scheduled for a July 2025 release, the trailer packs a powerful punch with glimpses of all four iconic members of Marvel’s First Family and some surprise cosmic guests too.

The trailer wastes no time diving into action. We see Sue Storm (Invisible Woman) not only showcasing her signature invisible shields but also hinting at an unexpected storyline ‘she appears to be pregnant!’, Could this be a setup for Franklin Richards? Mr. Fantastic (Reed Richards) stretches into action, reminding fans why he’s one of the smartest (and most flexible) minds in the Marvel Universe. Johnny Storm (Human Torch) literally lights up the screen and Ben Grimm (The Thing) is seen smashing structures with raw, unmatched strength hinting at a dream match up fans are hoping for: The Thing vs Hulk!!! possibly in Avengers: Doomsday.

If you haven’t watched the trailer yet, what are you waiting for? Marvel’s First Family is finally here, and they’re about to go head-to-head with a force that could destroy everything.

Cosmic Surprises and Multiversal Mayhem

The biggest twist? Silver Surfer makes an appearance but with a twist! This version of the Herald of Galactus is a woman, adding a fresh and bold take to the character. We also get a massive tease of Galactus himself only his towering feet are shown, but it’s enough to spark massive speculation. Is the Planet Eater finally coming to destroy this multiverse?

The trailer hints at a deeper plot involving multiversal destruction, possibly orchestrated by Galactus himself. As Marvel continues its Multiverse Saga, fans are wondering: Will the Fantastic Four be able to save their world or any world from total annihilation? Interestingly, Doctor Doom is nowhere to be seen in this trailer. But this being a multiverse tale, it’s very likely we’ll meet a version of Doom in this or upcoming Marvel projects.
