Written by Bijoy Raveendran, illustrated by Utsab Chatterjee and published & letters by Raviraj Ahuja, this is the first part of a three-part mini-series that blends occult detective fiction, serial killer narratives and folk horror elements. Produced by Tadam Gyadu and Bijoy Raveendran, the project also receives additional production support from Yali Dream Creations.
Synopsis: The Curse of a Forbidden Film
In the year 1992, the sleepy, cinema-obsessed hamlet of Arakkan, nestled between Kerala and Tamil Nadu, became the unsuspecting stage for a sinister experiment, a seedy independent film.
This was no ordinary film.
A virulent reel of celluloid that would erase the entire village, 350 people, 160 families are gone without a trace.
What happened to them? What dark forces were unleashed through this forbidden creation?
Technicolour Lovers unravels the origins of this cursed film, a harrowing tale that forces you to question the very nature of morality, perception, and truth.
