Predator Vs. Punisher: Frank Castle Faces Marvel’s Ultimate Hunter
The Predator has found its next target and Frank Castle isn’t backing down.
Marvel Comics is about to turn New York City into a hunting ground.
Announced at San Diego Comic-Con 2026, Predator Vs. Punisher will bring Frank Castle face-to-face with one of the most dangerous hunters in popular culture. The four-issue limited series is written by Frank Tieri with art by Jesús Saíz and it launches in November 2026.
The setup is exactly the kind of brutal collision fans would expect. A Predator arrives in New York searching for worthy prey, only to encounter the Punisher. What begins as an alien hunt quickly becomes entangled with the city’s criminal underworld, putting familiar Marvel villains including Kingpin, Jigsaw, Silvermane and The Owl into the middle of the chaos.
And that is what makes this crossover particularly interesting.
Frank Castle isn’t a superhero who will simply overpower his opponent. He’s a tactician, weapons expert and relentless hunter himself. The Predator, meanwhile, has spent decades stalking the most dangerous warriors across the galaxy.
So the real question isn’t simply who is stronger?
It’s who is the better hunter?
Marvel has already explored Predator matchups against characters such as Wolverine, Black Panther and Spider-Man. Putting the Yautja against the Punisher, however, feels different because both characters operate from a similar philosophy: track the target, understand the battlefield and eliminate the threat.
Tieri has also teased that the series will feature twists, violence and an unexpected shared history between the two combatants, adding another layer to what could otherwise be a straightforward monster-versus-vigilante story.
With Dustin Weaver, Alex Maleev and Leinil Francis Yu among the artists contributing cover artwork, Predator Vs. Punisher already has plenty of visual firepower behind it.
One hunter. One vigilante. One very bloody New York City.
