His visual personality was brought to life by legendary Artist Ram Waeerkar, whose daughter Archana Amberkar now continues the tradition with equal flair. Suppandi’s fame isn’t limited to the pages of the magazine anymore. He now entertains fans through animated videos on his official YouTube channel Suppandi and Friends. He’s even collaborated with brands like Tata Mutual Fund to simplify financial literacy, and starred alongside Chacha Chaudhary in a popular CRED ad proving that his appeal spans generations.
He even holds a record for the most number of jobs held by a fictional character. Plus, Little Suppandi, his cuter, younger version has become a fan favorite among younger readers. At Comic Cons and fan events, cosplayers dressed as Suppandi showcase just how much this goofy genius is loved. His misadventures have inspired countless memes, jokes and of course monthly laughs through Tinkle.
