On April 18, 1938, the iconic Superman made his debut in Action Comics #1, created by writer Jerry Siegel and artist Joe Shuster. Day before yesterday, we all celebrated the 86th anniversary of the G.O.A.T. (Greatest of All Time) Superhero.

Appeared in the pages of Action Comics #1 on 18 April 1938 , it’s almost eight & half decades of Superman and has been an incredible journey from his comic book debut to his current position as a cultural symbol of hope. Ever since, this iconic superhero has captivated viewers of all ages everywhere around the globe by appearing in comic books, movies, anime, cartoons, OTTs, and merchandise in addition to gracing the pages of many graphic novels.
DC Studio’s head and movie director James Gunn also shared a picture of himself with the actors and actresses of Superman’s Legacy film as if they were all seen reading Superman’s comics.
